Architect, Steam-Ad designed a special place for dogs and humans to socialize, enjoy coffee and craft beer. Located in Bethesda, Maryland, Bark Social is the first full service dog park and bar in the Mid-Atlantic. BGC | Gardiner & Gardiner ran with the design and constructed an open air indoor/outdoor space consisting of durable industrial materials. Repurposed sea containers were pieced together to create a kitchen, clubhouse, bathroom facilities and private seating areas. Owners, Jeff Kurtzman and Luke Silverman, opened the doors early March and he is quickly discovering that Bark Social is a popular Bethesda/Rockville common meeting park.
