New construction of three level estuarine research facility on a 10-acre parcel in Jefferson Patterson Park. Work included gavel parking, entrance drive, hazardous waste storage building, microcosm building and wood timber pier extending to Mackell Cove. Site and river work presented complexities due to construction within critical areas. Underground pipelines had to be coordinated with the crop cycle of the nearby farms and river work.
