BGC | Gardiner and Gardiner built a Microtel by Wyndham location in Gambrills, MD, positioned close to the Waugh Chapel Towne Centre on Route 3. We wrapped up this project near the end of 2020. The ground-up, energy efficient hotel offers 79 guest rooms over five stories. Guests are presented with a variety of accommodations. They also have access to several amenities including a fitness area, laundry rooms, ice machines, complimentary breakfast, and business center with WIFI and internet access. The fire-resistant construction consisted of ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) walls and precast hollow core planking. BuilderGuru Contracting assisted architect Owen Slagel and Maryland Hotel Partners in delivering and accomplishing the goal of the Microtel Wyndham brand.
