The Lexington Park Rescue Squad is now complete! Ground up new construction built on 1.76 acres with heavy site development. The land was essentially a ravine and dumping ground with substantial bad soils that needed to be hauled out and replaced before bringing in fill material. Building is conventionally built brick/block and mortar with wood trusses. Home Innovation Research Labs has certified the building to be in compliance with the ICC 700 National Green Building Standard, which makes this one of the first Rescue Squads in the country to achieve such certification.
