The Tate Building is located on West Street close to Admiral Drive and is a 38,000 square foot Class A office building built by BGC | Gardiner and Gardiner. The 2 story office building is designed for a mix of office and retail end users. Board and Batten exterior finish with standing seam roof, commercial storefront, and exposed wood structural elements create an Annapolis twist on a Pacific Northwest American look. This project is special to BuilderGuru because they not only built the building and completed the site package on the project, but have also done nearly all of the tenant fitout work inside the building. The interior projects include: Hair Club for Men, Elevate Life, Children’s National and lastly, Century 21 of Annapolis.
Children’s National Clinic was a unique project for BGC | G & G. The company remodeled the existing structure and constructed a large medical fit-out with several high end finishes throughout the interior. An X-ray room was added with lead in the dry wall and is one of the most impressive spaces in the medical unit. Bright colors make the office more appealing and inviting to kids. This is the second Children’s National the company has completed.
BuilderGuru completed the Century 21 fit out this year. With the assistance from owner Century 21 New Millennium and Level One Architects, they accomplished a beautiful office space overlooking West Street. Large black framed windows and vaulted industrial ceilings, bring in the natural light and make this space more enjoyable for employees and their clients. The layout is perfectly designed for easy access to the office and conference rooms. BGC | G & G worked with Hammond Wilson Architect for the base building, Clockwork Studio for the Children’s Hospital and LOA for the Century 21 job.
